AETHER COSMOLOGY

©2013 Dorian Taddei

The following treatise beings our re-introduction of the one true cosmology. This section is designed to answer the two questions arising from, and implied by, this mission statement. First, what do we mean by the ‘true cosmology?’ Secondly, what do we mean by re-introduction?’ Did this information exist before, and if so, when and among what people?

It is critical to any discussion to establish the meaning of words used. Often intellectual, as well as religious disagreements, have at their roots such simple oversights as poorly established definitions, the lack of mutually accepted premises, or both. To begin with, the word cosmology has two different definitions, one concerning itself with the fundamental structure and laws of the cosmos, and the other with beginnings (or genesis) thereof. Cosmology is the branch of astrophysics that studies the universe as the totality of all phenomena.

The following is a series of quotes and my interspersed footnotes, as well as a portion of an article by the later cosmologist, Tom Van Flandern, which all point to the veracity of the aether as the fundamental principle underlying our universe. Tom called the aether the "Light Carrying Medium," or LCM. This was so that those he used to work with (At the Naval Observatory in Washington, D.C. would not throw him out of their circle of relativist cosmologists. They did anyway! During the heyday of Classical Physics aether cosmologists called the fabric of space the Luminiferous Aether. The ancients called this aether by many names, and used graphic models of it in order to communicate principles based in this cosmology, to one another. For the ancient Indians the aether was Akasha, and motion through the aether was thought to drive life energy itself, called Prana. For the hermetic hierophants of Egypt, this aether was the womb of all things, or the ALL. It would also become known as the "primeval waters (of Nun), and the later Gnostics would combine the idea of the aether as both the source of all knowledge and creation (as a heavenly womb), anthropomorphizing the idea into a figure called Sophia — from the Egyptian Soph (from the comet of initial dialyzed creation known anciently as Ain, Ain-Soph, Ain-Soph Aur).

It needs to be clearly stated that a correct understanding of both the nature of aether, as well as its inseparable connection to our own consciousness and this matrix of all matter, must be comprehended if one is to understand this universe and mankind’s place in it. Throughout history enlightened people attempted to reconcile both the physical universe of matter, and the spiritual aspects of life, in a single cosmology. And this is only proper, for there can be no separation. The question is: What structure, what dynamic principles, could explain EVERYTHING both physical and spiritual, or eternal? This is the greatest mystery of all. The answers to these questions were the most sacred-secret of all time. The answers to such questions were known anciently by the term the Great Arcanum.

[It should be noted that the following statement follow logically from our interpretation of the aether. Note, this is only a partial list.]

If there is an aether, and if said aether (dualized) gives rise to all physical, as well as all metaphysical, phenomena, then the following facts are implied, and become implicit:

1) There can never be, nor was there ever, a ‘big bang.’ By extension, the universe is a ‘steady-state’ condition.

2) There can be no end to matter, nor to space. Matter is regularly coming to being, and being destroyed, although primarily there is always more matter over time.

3) There is no real separation between spirit and body, only individually manifested states. This would be akin to the forms of matter: solid, liquid gas, plasma, microcluster, where the spirit is a more refined condition, and one operating at a higher frequency than that of cruder matter, both states arising from the same elemental aether.

The Neo-Platonistic notion of Heaven and Earth being two separate domains, is therefore a flawed concept. This nullifies most of the foundational beliefs of major Christian denominations, as well as bringing into question the false concepts which have crept into most of the world’s religions.

4) The universe is integrally connected, infinite and eternal.

5) Time is not a dimension, but merely a relative perception of motion, from the macroscopic (solar days, lunar cycles, etc.) to the microscopic (clocks counting the decay of nuclei).

6) The Mind/Spirit of Man is contiguous and part of the aether, and therefore space is a matrix of pure mind, at its base fundamental.

7) Furthermore, this matrix is a tessellated structure of standing light, dynamic (in motion) but stationery a regarding its location compared to a fixed reference in space; a term called ‘stagnant’ by the likes of Hemholtz, Faraday, Maxwell, Michelson, Lorentz and others.

We can simply state that, if our theory is correct, all bets are off, and it is back to the drawing board for the sciences. Although the data remains the same, much of our theoretical understanding of the nature of this universe must be restructured. Or, perhaps we could simply rephrase an old adage: Much of what you thought you know . . . is wrong!

Many modern scientists dismiss the concept of an ‘aether,’ because the early theories – as formulated during the period known generally as that of ‘Classical Physics,’ which sought to explain the aether as a physical medium of some sort — had an incorrect model for it. For example, some modeled it as a liquid, due to some of its apparent properties. Properly explained, however, the aether is a viable, and fundamental concept which overturns centuries of scientific conventions about the universe and matter. And it’s about time!

These notes address the apparent disparity between the actual statements of some of the world’s most famous 19th and 20th Century cosmologists, and misleading rhetoric allegedly deriving from their scientific discoveries. ONly by a closer examination of their actual declarations concerning this primordial aether can we clearly see that none of the great cosmologists dismissed the existence of an aether. And this then leads us to ask, “So, if the aether exists, why then are we being taught by our universities and its scholars, that is does not?” This is a very important question, and the revelations to which such an inquiry inexorably leads us are staggering in their implications.

It must be mentioned at the onset that this theory unites the world of the physical and spiritual. This answers the ageless questions of the nature of mind, and God, with great economy, which is one of the signs of a solid theory. The implications of this simply verify that those ancient sages and esotericists had it right all along. Cosmology (from Greek κοσμολογία - κόσμος, kosmos, "universe"; and -λογία, - logia, "study") is the study of the Universe in its totality, and by extension, humanity's place and purpose in it. Although the use of this word, cosmology is recent (first used in 1730 in Christian Wolff's Cosmologia Generalis), the study of the universe is fundamental to true science, as well as philosophy, esotericism, and true religion. As such, cosmological tenets formed the foundation of all true esoteric religions and philosophies.

Marcus Aurelius (last of the five ‘good’ Roman emperors and Stoic philosopher) said of a man's relationship to cosmology: "He who does not know what the world is does not know where he is, and he who does not know for what purpose the world exists, does not know who he is, nor what the world is."

From the Gnostic Nag Hammadi Codex the “Gospel of Thomas,” we find statements attributed to Jesus Christ which also refer to this knowledge as necessary to any true understand one’s place and purpose in creation. Addressing the very nature of consciousness, he says: “. . . the kingdom is inside of you, and outside of you . . . When you come to know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will realize that you are the children of the living Father . . . But if you do not come to know yourselves, then you exist in poverty, and you are poverty."

According to the Greek periegetic (travelogue) writer Pausanias, the exhortation, “Man, know thyself,” was inscribed in the pronaos (forecourt) of the Temple of Apollo at Delphi.
Since archaic times, mankind (in each consecutive and overlapping age) has been aware of this primordial truth, and its connection to both life, and the meaning of life — this universe’s raison d’être. But this changed radically during the last 2,000 years. One might be tempted to blame the Greeks — from which we claim our scientific heritage, for it was the Greeks who essentially removed God from the esoteric traditions, focusing instead on the rational side of materialistic science. And yet, this was an honest mistake, driven by a lack of spiritual vision. What of the late 19th, 20th, and now the 21st centuries?

Curiously, the loss of an understanding of the nature of the aether makes it virtually impossible to make major advances in the sciences (including interstellar travel), just as, lacking this basic framework for understanding the universe, we are crippled spiritually, unable to connect the dots, and to understand the purpose of our own creation. Many will wonder what we could possibly mean by this? After all, has not man built atom bombs, designed first- strike viral weapons and computers? The consensus mind might be tempted to ask — “Are we not advanced?”

Our purpose in creating this site is education, and we therefore do our best to by-pass the implications of possible conspiracy theory. However, one cannot but wonder how so few, have managed to convince so many to follow a convoluted path into the mathematical maze of post-relativistic cosmology. Starting with the oversimplification of Maxwell’s seminal work on a GUT (grand unifying theory) of forces by Oxford scientist Oliver Heaviside, through Einstein’s publishing of his SR (Special Relativity) theory (only one year after Lorentz published his aetheric relativity theory), scientists working under military constructs, and with an agenda, turned hard "classical" physics into a cosmology of theoretical mathematics and absurd metaphor.

Today mankind is lost in a maze of existentialist sophistry, his science and the vast majority of his religions at odds with the truths once clearly stated by individuals now labeled as primitive. Ironically, these same primitives built temples like those at Baalbek (utilizing massive stone architecture larger than anything at the Great Pyramid, at Giza) and the massive basalt slabs (now lying 95 feet under water) in the Caroline Islands; once the home of the 3-foot tall Homo floresiensis ("Hobbit" race). These primitives pulled off feats of engineering that we cannot even manage with our best technology today. They also set up the geodetically repositioned alchemical-astrological healing temple on the Salisbury Plain (Stonehenge). If that wasn’t enough, all three of these sites lie on a single geodetic ley line — which girds the Earth — connecting these sites at points along this earth-girding line that correspond to a plane of influence mapped onto and into the earth, based on our position in space and our (absolute) motion through it. In other words, the ancients apparently understood the energetic, aetheric interaction between the earth and the heavens.

The ancient esotericists referenced these complex aetheric interactions with the simple axiom: “As above, so below.”

Lacking a knowledge of true cosmology, duplicating many of the feats of the ancients — that modern science insists were ‘primitive” — would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible for us to pull off, even for in our day. So let us examine the aetheric cosmology from the notes of some of the best minds of the 19th and 20th centuries.

Did we accidentally loose something incredibly important, or were we deliberately misled by a science designed to circumvent the re-discovery of the aether for the purposes of some hidden militarized agenda? We’ll let the reader decide this for themselves. Our interest is in setting the story straight, and refocusing the group-mind on a careful study of true cosmology.

All truths hinge upon this understanding, be they astrological, alchemical or spiritual. The evidence suggests that the farther back in time we look, the more sophisticated this knowledge of the cosmos and aether, may have been. What are the implications of this?
