MYTHOLOGY DECIPHERED

The term alchemy (from the Arabic Al kepi) is a term that is almost universally misunderstood in modern times. One of the first definitions one sees if searching online, is that alchemy was the attempt to make lead into gold. Alchemy is also universally referred to as a primitive form of chemistry. These statements do not represent a true perspective of this ancient art.
Alchemy was an entirely different approach to understanding nature, and was used to extend human life though the application of aetheric (vibrational and harmonic) science. We might say that chemistry (in a primitive form) was merely a means to obtain alchemy's ends. The production of gold — which was, no doubt successfully carried out by many alchemists over time — was not the true goal of the alchemists, although it might have been a benefit to some who required funds. In fact, in the latter case, the threat of alchemical gold upsetting the economics of their nation's gold-based monetary system was taken seriously by English Parliment. In the late 17th century a new law was instituted stating that anyone caught making alchemical gold, would be summarily beheaded.
For centuries, researchers seeking for the truths of ancient (esoteric) alchemy, have combed through the ancient medieval and renaissance texts and tracts, and searched the emblematic engravings and paintings of the past for the KEY to alchemy's secrets.
This website includes breaking discoveries into the true nature of alchemy, not from such encrypted sources, but from much earlier sources, from across the planet. We do interpret many of the ancient texts as we see fit, but our discoveries begin where the origins of the Art of Alchemy — once totally integrated into the knowledge of astrology — are recorded: at ancient rock art sites, in esoteric, iconographical art and high relief stelae of the ancient world.
Found on all continents, among all ancient peoples, are examples of the same ideogrammatic, esoteric glyphs and complex glyphs (sigils) encoding this ancient knowledge. These are neither primitive, nor an indigenous system of marks, but represent esoteric ideograms taught to initiates across the earth; examples of culturally-modified ideograms from the same universal sourcebook. In fact, aside from the local variations that occurred over time in most locales where esoteric truths were taught, there is a remarkably coherent transference of this information down through time. The majority of the most important (and often recognizable) symbols employed in antiquity, maintained the correct meanings for millennia. However, implied by this transmission is the existence of schools or organizations which must have trained initiates, who learned these traditions and passed them on the next generation, and so on. Throughout North America, as also at locations on all major continents, and major island groups, we find these same traditions, and the implications of such a global awareness suggests that occult science was both widespread and remarkably well hidden from the uninitiated.
In some areas of truly ancient occult pedigree, we find symbols recognizable today, which predate our current era by as much as 16,000-20,000 years! No spoken language has so endured, and few ancient written languages have survived intact for mroe than 3500 years or so. These esoteric, ideogrammatic glyphs carry far more constant and eternal meanings that — once deciphered — challenge much of our modern-day interpretation of the past, and demonstrate how incorrect modern anthropological, post-Darwinian paradigm really is. History and pre-history will have to be re-written.
Those who used these glyphs to teach and instruct generations of occult initiates, employed the principles of their sacred-science to promote human spiritual evolution. The science these deceptively simple marks encoded, represents a remarkably enlightened and coherent set of cosmological principles, as correct today as they were tens of millennia ago.
The knowledge inscribed into much of the world's rock art — albeit not all — represents less a collective knowledge, nor a meme, but coherent set of revelations — pure intelligence — concerning the true nature of the cosmos itself, encoding intelligence deliberately entrusted to the Earth in a durable form, for those of later generations of re-discover, as we have. As such esoteric and alchemical rock art is nothing less than proof for the reality of a global, intentional hermeticism, practiced since the dawn of what we call human civilization. It is available to all, in every age. However, although open to anyone, this encyclopedia of the occult is not learned like empirical science. It is received, recognized and verified by consciousness. Once received this knowledge was once called gnosis (from Greek gignōskein ‘know’) in ancient times.
Once we gain the necessary 'program' to interpret this intelligence, the mind begins to fit the pieces together into a cogent, cosmological gestalt. Those who have become enlightened do so as the brain begins to alter the mundane structure of its day-to-day reality, re-tuning itself, making use more receptive to the encoded 'intelligence' present in the aetheric fabric of space itself — what the ancient Indian mystics called the Akasha.
The sense of at-one-ment, the flow if intelligence to the brain, of a mystical experience, is the only way to "know God." Or put another way, it is only through mystical experience that we gain direct understanding of the universe at large, and our place in it. In his poem "Auguries of Innocence," William Blake appears to have captured this experience in rhyme.
To see a World in a Grain of Sand
And a Heaven in a Wild Flower,
Hold Infinity in the palm of your hand
And Eternity in an hour.

Such close-encounters with the 'Absolute' lead to the development of language. Just such a mystical at-one-ment spawned the mythos of Odin and his Runes. It inspired the formal transfer of the form geometry seen behind closed eyes in the mystic's mind, to some surface like rock-pecked petroglyphs, plates or papyrus. A more formalized version of such a transferred structure, used later to encode and design almost every major exoteric ideogram of the ancient world, is known as the Flower of Life. We have demonstrated that this form geometry-based antiquarian occult system was the blueprint for almost all of the major ideograms developed over as along a period as the last 20,000 years! It can be shown to be related to the Kabbalists Sephiroth, but like the Sephiroth itself, can be demonstrated to have been un use far lounger than ever suspected.
The Flower of Life has an antecedent in ancient Asia. it consists of a form geometry inspired pattern formed of a single line, a tradition which is also found in Celtic Knots,. The making of these shapes was once likely done with dolomitic rock dust, but later sand was used in most cases. This traditional concept continues to this day Tibetan sand mantras, as well as in the form of Kolam designs in Tamil (southern) India.
Kolam is a modern, functional version of a far earlier form geometry custom linked to the labyrinth dances of the islands of Melanesia, and was still begin practiced in the early 20th century in the Republic of Vanuatu. Among these ancient island peoples, these geometric patterns we still being used as tattoos among the island's denizens as recorded early in the 20th century by the British anthropologist John Layard (1891–1974).
Vanuatu was an important island group due to its proximity to the Southern Equatorial Current. Those who traveled the seas, crossing the Pacific on their way to the Americas, would travel along this road in the ocean, if retiring from Peru or Central America, heading to the Southern Ocean kingdoms. We have run into the ancient "lozenge" petroglyph designs along the "Corridors of the Magi," where these ocean current highways systems approach land. In the Caroline Islands (once the major base of operations of the Kunlun — seafaring Homo floresiensis) we are bound to find traces of this traditional pre-historic 'language' geometry. It is found wherever these 'little people' made their homes.

Written languages (scripts) appear at different locations in the ancient world. We hold that this was an attempt to imitate the order of eternity in a shorthand, using a library of symbols. The ancient net-like or Kolam-like petroglyphs of the Homo floresiensis (or Kunlum, as they were recalled from the myths of ancient China), appear to be just this, sections of a larger design, separated from the whole to record different ideas. So-called lozenge shapes, sometimes consisting of roughly diamond-shaped, interlocking shapes in straight lines, sometimes in sections like we see in the cauldron sheep above, appear at important sites of mineral mining for the elixir of life, at points all over the western United Stated, especially the Mojave. Perhaps these symbols will eventually be deciphered too; now that we know what other petroglyphs at these sites refer to. If so, then this could represent the oldest deciphered language on Earth!
The oldest languages (like early megalithic Tifinagh, language of the Giants) are still undeciphered, like Linear-A, Tifinagh, Tocharian, and others. Ironically, the lozenge structures of the Kunlun, are not even recognized as a language. However, it is likely that they were not languages as we know them today, but ideogrammatic signs, like the esoteric petroglyphs we have now begin to decipher.
Like the Egyptian hieroglyphs (R. A. Schwaller de Lubicz's "neters"), they would have begun as sacred-science ideogrammatic or pictographic images, and only later been adapted as syllabic alphabets to communicate more mundane, secular ideas.
As we demonstrate amply on the pages of this website, Alchemy was the oldest science on earth, and the most closely guarded secret. It was used side-by-side with astrology, the ancient science which took into considerations the planetary-aether, energetic interactions "above," which affected everything on the earth "below." This was one sacred-secret science.
Modern (non-initiated) Man with his rational explanations and euro-centric interpretation of secular history, is in no position to recognize his ignorance of the high levels of achievement of these archaic geniuses. Instead he re-invents himself the 'master of the universe', disregarding some 600,000 years of science and spiritual advancement. He — modern man — also does not recognize the truth: that he is devolving, not evolving. Our ancestors were spiritually and intuitively more advanced than we are today. Our physical brains are shrinking, and a majority of our species has even lost the ability to even care about our own existence. We slave on toiling in Samsara, our minds trapped in the Maya of our own illusions, oblivious to who and WHAT we really are. [See the section titled TRUE EVOLUTION for more on making's devolution.]
As recorded in the Gnostic Gospels, Jesus Christ (the greatest bodhisattva of any age) had this to say about those who do not "know" themselves (i.e. understand the nature of their consciousness, and its relationship to the ALL, to 'dynamic fan irc of space"):
"When you know yourselves, then you will be known, and you will understand
that you are children of the living Father. But if you do not know yourselves,
then you live in poverty, and you are the poverty."

KOLAM • LABYRINTH CONNECTION

“Melanesian sand drawings and associated myths had an uncanny resemblance to the labyrinth patterns and associated myths found in Crete, Central Africa, Scandinavia, Ireland and Scotland. It was the complex of parallels — not just similarity in diagrams — that was intriguing. For some still-poorly understood reason, megalithic cultures (roughly 1000 – 300 B.C.E) seem to have settled on the labyrinth as the key to the spiritual control of thresholds.”
Consider this example taken from the research of British anthropologist John Layard. The "tic-tac-toe" figure on the left is from Malekula; the one of the right is a tattoo pattern from Tamil Nadu (southern India). Layard thought the Tamil Nadu design "technologically degraded" as compared to the one from Malekula; the latter is a true maze, is produced by a single line and looks more complicated on the whole. The object on the left is from Malekula; the one on the right is the "pavitram" kolam. The two figures are curiously similar. It’s as if one figure is a remembered version of the other. The connection between kolams and Malekula sand-figures was not noticed by Layard (who was unaware of the existence of kolams), but by F. A. Richards. The latter had heard about the Malekulan figures at a meeting of the Cambridge Anthropological Club in 1927; he immediately sent Layard two Indian books filled with kolam diagrams. Also at that meeting was an Indian lady, one Mrs. Gnana Durai. In her words:
"On October 19th, 1927, Dr. Haddon read a paper before the Cambridge Anthropological Club on the late Mr. A. B. Deacon’s investigations in Malekula, in which he referred to and showed examples of the geometrical diagrams which Mr. Deacon had discovered in that island. This at once recalled to my mind that analogous diagrams are constructed every day among the Hindus of the Madras Presidency."

Kolam and Labyrinth Connections
LABYRINTH OF INCARNATIONS
This cross-cultural pattern is found around the world as the Tetraskellian, the Gammadion, the so-called Knott of Solomon, is the basis for the Eternal Knot of the Tibetans, and was simplified (for the sake of the carving or petroglyphs into hard stone) into the Svastika. All of these are similar, because they are derived from visual phenomena associated with the early religious rituals involving the use go entheogens. This symbol is what we refer to as “form geometry’. It is produced by the visual cortex of the brain, as a tessellated resonance drawn from the aether itself. Its closest analog in our modern times is the modality in mathematics called the fractal.
The mind ‘sees’ the infinitely small fundaments structure of the aetheric fabric, projecting it into a visual play of fluid geometric ‘form geometry’, which underlays other visual data interpreted from the eyes. This fluid geometric filter alters the visual information being fed to the brain, by the eyes, and as our brains interpret the imagery we see with our eyes, underlaid by this form geometry, this has often interpreted as a burring (heat waves) or melting illusion. The heat rising off a desert, which distorts what we see in the distance, is commonly experienced visual analogy.
The incarnating consciousness is subjected to the aetheric medium as it enters into a body. The ancient rebirthing ceremonies (endogenic ego-dissolution experiences, often associated with sensory deprivation), such as the ancient gnostic-Christian tradition of the “baptism of fire,” all refer to these same experiences. Those entering back into the physical body, experience their mind/spirit following the ‘crooked paths’ (Thoth) of the labyrinth of aetheric consciousness, as they drop back into their bodies. Because they were not dead prior to this experience, they recall the experiences. For this reason the symbol of the gammadion (we prefer tetraskellion) is the single, globally recognized symbol ,of the re-birthing rituals of the ancients. This symbol records the human experience of our ancestors and they voyages to inner space, as remembered through the oldest religious ceremony on earth, the labyrinth dance.
This dance of rebirth is also linked to the alchemical wedding, or Hieros Gamos (Greek). Hence, we should not be surprised to find this connection was retained in the mythos of ancient cultures who were separated by the devolutionary decay of modern ideas and secular practices, those that replaced the earlier, cosmic religious mindset of archaic times.
As more evidence for these claims, we invite the note what these diagrams represent to their respective cultures. In Malekula, the sand-diagrams represent labyrinths marking the boundary between the end of one life and the beginning of the next. As John Layard put it:

“They too are drawn on thresholds. They too are associated with transition stages, such as sunrise, birth, death and marriage ceremonies. It is the women who draw the kolams, and it is usually the man of the house who first walks over it, erasing what has just been drawn. Just as the physical mortuary labyrinth of Crete got abstracted out into a sand-figure representation in the Malekula culture, amongst the Tamil, the idea of the labyrinth got gradually displaced by the even more abstract notion of threshold. The diagrams were retained, but the interpretations changed, so much so that the current explanations for why the kolam is drawn have no resemblance to the reasons of the Malekulan native.”
Kolam: What The Hand Said « Round Dice
“There are many other connections as well. The word "kolam" refers to a kind of dance in Sri Lanka, one involving masks and complicated steps. The Malekula also have masked dances in which they play out the shapes of particular sand-diagrams. So on and so forth. It really is an anthropological wet-dream.
“Layard speculated, in passing, that both kolams and Malekula sand-diagrams were offshoots of a single megalithic culture, possibly of east or south-east asian in origin. Recent genetic studies would seem to support this theory. Given the nature of genetic studies, the data could probably be tweaked to support almost any other hypothesis. For all we know, one of Thor Heyerdahl’s ancestors may have seeded the whole damn Melanesian world.”

The TRUE Labyrinth has only one way in and out. Also, these are 7 circuit, meaning that movement through the Labyrinth induces a movement of 3-1-3 sets of turns before the center is reached.
PSYCHEDELIC CONNECTION
Why the fascination with the labyrinth? Why is the classic 7-circuit labyrinth the predominate labyrinth design in petroglyphic rock art — a design that prevails for more than 10,000 years?
The truth behind the labyrinth has its roots in consciousness and reincarnation. The following information has not been understood outside of initiate circles (as it is one of the great secrets that occult oaths were designed to hide from any but the initiated), and was only rediscovered during the psychedelic 60s'. It would reemerge under the title of an LSD seizure, during 1950s-1960s. During clinical human "LSD" studies — utilizing the powerful entheogen LSD-25, made by Sandoz Laboratories, in Switzerland — unusual fits or seizure like phenomena were sometimes observed in patients on extended "trips." Doctors notices that a small percentage of individuals, given higher doses of LSD-25, would exhibit what was thought to be a seizure — a writhing motion that lasted for a few moments to perhaps 5 minutes or more. These 'seizures' mimicked some of the symptoms of 'general seizures' (such as epileptic seizures) in many regards. However, subsequent research into this phenomena, utilizing EEG devices in order to observe electrical brain anomalies at the time of these seizures, revealed NO unusual brain activity!
Over a period of some 9 years this author was involved with psychedelic experiences, and experimenters. With close to 500 ego-dissolution experiences of his own, and having observed (and 'talked down') several dozen individuals under the influence of LSD-25 (and related drugs), the study of these 'seizures' yielded interesting information. For example, one of the major triggers that cause these unusual physical symptoms is fear coupled to confusion. Additionally, it should be noted that the ingestion of a less pure chemicals can also creates issues, as the molecular shape and the consistency of these chemicals alters both their vibrational and energetic
Additionally, as clinicians discovered, these are NOT seizures; at least by strict medical definition. Seizures are directly linked to electrical behavior in the brain. Full-blown seizures involve both hemispheres of the brain, and partial seizures at least a portion of a brain lobe. Anomalous seizure types these cascading electrical patterns can travel to never clusters within the body (external to the brain itself). However, in ALL cases, genuine "seizures' are linked to generalized electrical spikes and wave discharges in the brain. (see EEG reading below).
What happens during these alleged "seizures" is that — in their own minds — those experiencing theses fits caught in the labyrinth of their own manifest thoughts. They may be feeling a pulling sensation, a sharp pain, almost like a sharp object is sticking in the backs, about the position of the second Chakra, along the vertebrae. This sensation does not last long, but feels physical, even tough it is not, hence no changes of electrical brain state is measurable. However, although in the mind, this pain and the felling of a zig-zag motion begins to draw in the human experience, and the 'seizure' victim writhes (usually on the ground), or follows what appears to be a labyrinth-like pattern in his or her own mind. It is as if the experiencer's mind is moving along the lines of the Labyrinth in a manner similar to the falling metal ball in a Japanese Pachinko machine.
This experience is both in the mind and manifested physically. This state, if experienced in the body (as an ego dissolution experience while still alive, rather than as an actual incarnation experienced following physical death), appears to be linked to the flow of Prana (Indian) or Qi (Oriental, pronounces 'chee') energy through the body's seven Chakras. This experience drives the human body into an uncontrollable urge to move in order to fit it into the perceived flow of movement experienced by the mind, as it is, separated from ego, and linked only by the tenuous thread of silver light often described by mystics and those involved in true 'out of body' (OBE) or near death experiences. The more fearful one is in one's mind, the longer this experience will last.
We now make the connection between this ego-dissolution type experience (which can be driven by entheogenic sacraments), and actual incarnation experiences, in order that we might introduce another element of the labyrinth tradition. In the early truly ancient, esoteric spiritual traditions of the Tibetan Bon (Bon Po), the find evidence that this the same phenomena as that which the mind experiences as it plummets into a physical body, traveling through the Bardos of consciousness, and into a physical body during incarnation (birth). The fact that the oldest labyrinth designs in the world look remarkably similar to the human brain, is easily understood when once understands this connection
Hence, psychedelic (meaning 'mind manifesting') states directly mimic the state of consciousness of the disembodied spirit, just prior to, and influenced by, its entry into the body (inception). However, this state of entry is not the only one. The human mind, lacking control over its fears and desires, is caught up in these tortuous zigzag motions if it lacks experience with these states. A gained and purified soul, devoid of both the confusion experienced by those untrained in these OBE experiences, and suffering from the karmic sorrow and confusion based in its prior sins in its past life/lives, lacks control over this re-entry process. It is therefore caught up in what the immortal Thoth (ancient Egyptian immortal also known as Hermes to the Greeks) described as the "crooked paths" of Karma. We read this descriptive comparison of both the Bardo experience, and that of controlled entry into the body moving not through 'crooked paths' but in a spiraling motion, from the famous Emerald Tablet of Thoth, also called the
, As the spirit drops into the human body through the 7th Chakra. The hold that this passage of the sprit into the body (incarnation) occurs as the ancient Indian and Tibetan occult orders proclaimed — on the 49th day of embryonic gestation.
which consists first of a zigzag movement of three forward and three back, followed by a backwards motion in three directions, and then back to the "0" position once more. Most persons that experience this in the standing or upright (sitting) position experience this 3-3 - 1 - 3-3 zigzag movement of their mind, by following this with their body. This is the ZigZag of lightning depicted racing up and down the Kabbalistic Sephiroth. It causes some to sit, rocking back and forth in this 3-3 — 3-3 — 1 motion, not unlike the motion of a bucking Bull. Anciently, these bovines had a major predatory enemy, the saber toothed tiger. Tigers would seek to jump on the backs of these large bulls, the bull was forced to buck back and forth, forward and them back again. This fact was almost certainly added to the Labyrinth myth of Crete to symbolize the mind caught within this labyrinth of the mind-brain. Dropping down into the body as we are both, we follow the same 'crooked path" (Emerald Tablet of Thoth) as we experience rebirth.

SYMBOL OF CONSCIOUSNESS GAINED
Various shapes of labyrinths are, among others, found in Peru, Arizona, Iceland, Europe and India. The oldest labyrinth we know is that of Crete, which is already mentioned in Greek mythology and which was built by Daedalus. Pictures of this Cretan style labyrinth have been found on pottery and coins in Knossos on Crete of 2000 to 2500 years BC, on rocks in Wales(UK) and in Rocky Valley, Cornwall(UK) as well as with the Hopi indians. The oldest known form is that of the Cretan Labyrinth, which — which as we will see is no coincidence — resembles the human brain.
Another important and striking feature of all true labyrinths, is the equilateral cross forms the base of a labyrinth. This symbol may be understood as esoterically representing prima materia, the mineral(s) used to create various versions of the vitalizing and life extending "elixirs of life." In the truly ancient labyrinth traditions, the connection between the use of the sacramental 'fruits' of the "Tree of Life" was inseparable from the ingestion of the 'fruits' of the "Tree of (ALL) Knowledge." One was never separated in mythological storytelling, from the other. This is as it should be.
The Biblical Old Testament version of the creation, embellishes the earlier Babylonian traditional mythos of the TWO TREES of older creation myths. Those who have attempted to interpret these creation stories literally, have failed utterly to understand the depth of the symbolism involved. Even the serpent in the later Hebrew version of the Creation Myth is misunderstood, the serpent found only in the Hebrew version encoding the nature of the struggle of the human mind, bound up as it is, in unrecognized dualism. The serpent is the most bifurcated of the higher animals (vertebrates). ITs tongue is split at the ends, and even the reproductive organs (again a powerful symbol) are doubled, with
From the "Divine Pymander of Hermes Mercurius Trismegistus," we read the following esoterically encoded description of these rebirthing experiences, as the fate of those who are trained to understand the travel thought the smooth rings of spiraling ascent-descent, is contrasted with the fate of those who refuse to repent (chance consciousness), and to embrace the "mysteries" (esoteric training), who are inevitably and eternally subject to 'Maya' (spiritual forgetfulness) and enter this earth over, and over again, bereft of the Light of Truth. For only a Bodishattva can truly comprehend the light of consciousness, and Bodisattvas enter this life retaining elements of their primordial consciousness (having been prepared spiritually, and trained to do so), never to fully forget.
. The term "eight sphere" refers to the harmonic principle of the fundamental frequency, or the base note of an octave in sound — a harmonic rest state. Hence, the eight sphere refers to rest from incarnation cycles, control over one's consciousness, or — in the modern occidental vernacular — the attainment of Heaven. Controlled entry into the body is clearly mentioned using the term "rings." Lacking the word employed to day to refer to connected rings in a spiral, the terms rings is used in conjunction with some reference to ascending or descending. However, if we substitute the the spiral for words like circles or rings, then the true message is more easily understood.

From the "Divine Pymander of Hermes Mercurius Trismegistus," we read the following esoterically encoded description of these rebirthing experiences, as the fate of those who are trained to understand the travel thought the smooth rings of spiraling ascent-descent, is contrasted with the fate of those who refuse to repent (chance consciousness), and to embrace the "mysteries" (esoteric training), who are inevitably and eternally subject to 'Maya' (spiritual forgetfulness) and enter this earth over, and over again, bereft of the Light of Truth. For only a Bodishattva can truly comprehend the light of consciousness, and Bodisattvas enter this life retaining elements of their primordial consciousness (having been prepared spiritually, and trained to do so), never to fully forget.
The term "eight sphere" refers to the harmonic principle of the fundamental frequency, or the base note of an octave in sound — a harmonic rest state. Hence, the eight sphere refers to rest from incarnation cycles, control over one's consciousness, or — in the modern occidental vernacular — the attainment of Heaven. Controlled entry into the body is clearly mentioned using the term "rings." Lacking the word employed to day to refer to connected rings in a spiral, the terms rings is used in conjunction with some reference to ascending or descending. However, if we substitute the the spiral for words like circles or rings, then the true message is more easily understood.
"After the lower nature has returned to the brutishness, the higher struggles again to regain its spiritual estate. It ascends the seven Rings upon which sit the Seven Governors and returns to each their lower powers in this manner: Upon the first ring sits the Moon, and to it is returned the ability to increase and diminish. Upon the second ring sits Mercury, and to it are returned machinations, deceit, and craftiness. Upon the third ring sits Venus, and to it are returned the lusts and passions. Upon the fourth ring sits the Sun, and to this Lord are returned ambitions. Upon the fifth ring sits Mars, and to it are returned rashness and profane boldness. Upon the sixth ring sits Jupiter, and to it are returned the sense of accumulation and riches. And upon the seventh ring sits Saturn, at the Gate of Chaos, and to it are returned falsehood and evil plotting.
"Then, being naked of all the accumulations of the seven Rings, the soul comes to the Eighth Sphere, namely, the ring of the fixed stars. Here, freed of all illusion, it dwells in the Light and sings praises to the Father in a voice which only the pure of spirit may understand. Behold, O Hermes, there is a great mystery in the Eighth Sphere, for the Milky Way is the seed-ground of souls, and from it they drop into the Rings, and to the Milky Way they return again from the wheels of Saturn. But some cannot climb the seven-runged ladder of the Rings. So they wander in darkness below and are swept into eternity with the illusion of sense and earthiness.
"The path to immortality is hard, and only a few find it. The rest await the Great Day when the wheels of the universe shall be stopped and the immortal sparks shall escape from the sheaths of substance. Woe unto those who wait, for they must return again, unconscious and unknowing, to the seed-ground of stars, and await a new beginning. Those who are saved by the light of the mystery which I have revealed unto you, O Hermes, and which I now bid you to establish among men, shall return again to the Father who dwelleth in the White Light, and shall deliver themselves up to the Light and shall be absorbed into the Light, and in the Light they shall become Powers in God. This is the Way of Good and is revealed only to them that have wisdom.
"Blessed art thou, O Son of Light, to whom of all men, I, Poimandres, the Light of the World, have revealed myself. I order you to go forth, to become as a guide to those who wander in darkness, that all men within whom dwells the spirit of My Mind (The Universal Mind) may be saved by My Mind in you, which shall call forth My Mind in them. Establish My Mysteries and they shall not fail from the earth, for I am the Mind of the Mysteries and until Mind fails (which is never) my Mysteries cannot fail." With these parting words, Poimandres, radiant with celestial light, vanished, mingling with the powers of the heavens. Raising his eyes unto the heavens, Hermes blessed the Father of All Things and consecrated his life to the service of the Great Light.
Thus preached Hermes: "O people of the earth, men born and made of the elements, but with the spirit of the Divine Man within you, rise from your sleep of ignorance! Be sober and thoughtful. Realize that your home is not in the earth but in the Light. Why have you delivered yourselves over unto death, having power to partake of immortality? Repent, and change your minds. Depart from the dark light and forsake corruption forever. Prepare yourselves to climb through the Seven Rings and to blend your souls with the eternal Light."

Ancient peoples the world over had very similar experiences under the influence of entheogens. From these experiences would eventually rise a common esoteric language describing mystical experiences. Only by understanding — through direct experiences with ego-dissolution states — can we comprehend the meaning of many of the esoteric ideograms which form the basis for most ancient languages, and which were once the founding principles underlying the spiritual practices and teachings of antiquity.
It is by and through the use of these ideograms (extant today in the form of abstract petroglyphs) that the ancients were taught the Great Arcanum. The 'mysteries' of eternity where thus transferred through time. Some say all of this information came through Thoth, the Thrice-greatest Hermes. However, this is merely one in a long line of characters identified with, or as a source of, the Great Arcanum. Long before the Egyptian colony was re-established by survivors from the American colonies — following the global comet disaster of 4300 BCE (aka Noah's Flood) — those endowed with the same mystical intelligence hid these truths in plain sight, in the form of ideogrammatic petroglyphs. At sites around the world, carved into the rocks of every continent, these truths still remain. Those trained to read and correctly interpret them have, at their disposal, the remnant of the information once stored at the great Library of Alexandria. Chief among these ancient rock art sites are locations in Siberia. From these sites, and following the beginning of the Holocene, ancient priests endowed with this knowledge, and experienced in altered states of consciousness, made their way south, west ands east, established ancient cultures, and spread the true cosmological religion of the ancients from Europe to Asia. Eurasia became known as 'Middle Earth,' by the term Terra, and by other names. From points in ancient India and the Euphrates Valley, and from Indonesia to China, sailors traversed the Indian and Pacific Oceans to reach the shores of the American continents. This New World was known by many ancient names, as revealed through mythology. Universally known as the Underworld. It was also known to various cultures as: Atala (Mohenjo-Daro), the Hesperides (Helenistic Greece), Hades and Elysium (El-y-zion, from Homer's time), Dilmun (Mesopotamia), Avalon (Celtic Wales), Punt (Egypt), Ophir (Israel in David and Solomon's time), Hel (Nordic countries), and so on.
